PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD-Spencerville Canal Trail Project 

The Village of Spencerville has set a Public Comment period for the proposed recreational trail enhancement project from January 18, 2012 through February 17, 2012.  The proposed trail project shall be an extension of an existing trail at the south corporation limit of the Village.  The trail is proposed to extend north along the west side of the canal to the north corporation limit, with the exception of the two block section between Second Street and Fourth Street.  Funding for the proposed project is being sought through an Ohio Department of Natural Resources grant program. 

All comments shall be made in writing to Sean Chapman, Village Administrator, 116 S. Broadway Street, Spencerville, Ohio 45887 or in person at the Village's Utilities office located at 524 N. Broadway Street, Spencerville, Ohio 45887.  Anyone having questions regarding the proposed project, is asked to call Sean Chapman at 419-647-6263.

 

FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE 

The Village of Spencerville will be conducting a fire hydrant flushing event on Friday February 3, 2012 from 2:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  The specific locations involved with this event are Primrose Place and Wurster Drive; however, all customers should be prepared to experience discolored water and fluctuating pressure; caution should also be used when doing laundry.  Anyone having questions or concerns regarding this event should call Sean Chapman at 419-647-6263.
